When You Do What the Lord Wants You Are Blessed

I started my week off with just working hard and visiting a ton of less actives. Nothing too exciting happened until about Friday. We went on splits with the Sister Training Leaders who were able to teach us a ton. I was with Sister Calder all day we had an amazing experience where we picked up two new investigators. We had gone up to a door to find a guy that no one has talked to or seen in like a year. Chances were he wasn't going to be there, but we went anyway. When you do what the Lord wants you are blessed. :) So, we go up to the door, walk past a woman and a man, and go to buzz the door when we hear "Are you guys Mormon??" So we flip around and this woman is sitting there and she is like "Are you Mormons???" We replied with a confident yes, and BAM! From there we were able to talk to her and her boyfriend for 45 minutes. At first it started out with them being all bashin on the Mormon religion, and by the end of it, she was in tears and he was amazed and they invited us to come back and teach them all that we know! It was an amazing experience.

My roomies (Hoellein, Wagner, Rainsdon) and I have had a fabulous week of bonding and working hard. We all love each other a TON and today we spent the morning putting all of our beds in one room. :) It was great! We also try to just serve each other every day! President told us he knew that we were all going to be great together! He was dang right about that one! Church is something we are still getting used to because we have sooooooooooooo many meetings. But we have a wonderful Sister from the 1st ward who always brings us food in between sacrament meetings. :) We are so blessed and well taken care of by everyone! I am back to just maintaining my weight even though I should be gaining all the time. I guess I am just well blessed with a metabolism that loves me! :) I love being out on my mission and the people seriously make my day every day. I never though this is where I would find myself in a million of years, but hey, the Lord had a plan for me and he made sure I was going to be where I was needed.

Last fun experience of the week, we were able to get a less active sister back to church and she went up and bore her testimony. She told the congregation that the sister missionaries are the reason she was there today. Not to toot our horn or anything but... Sister Missionaries Kick Butt!!!! I really do love it here, and Nashua is an amazing place to be serving right now, things are starting to happen! We had Zone Conference on Thursday. It was amazing and I am learning how important it is to have member missionary work going. The statistic is 3 to 5 investigators will get baptized if there is a member present at their lessons! Isn't that AMAZING?? I thought so, plus we are moving forward with a digital mission, yeah, it's pretty dang awesome right now. Serving in this time is when the work is going to explode more than it has already! :)

Love lots,

Sister Boldt
