Shot-gunning in New Hampshire

It's weird that I am e-mailing on a Wednesday, but that is just because it is transfer week. I hard core miss you, but I know this is where I am supposed to be and I remind myself of it each day. Now for my week!

So Saturday.. yeah talk about crazy! I am being transferred. I am training. I am shot-gunning an area. I am DEAD MEAT. Pretty much we received a phone call from President Packard on Saturday while out to dinner with the Elder's as a last hurrah before transfers. We missed the phone call and he just asked us to call him back. When President calls you on T-Day you know someone is getting transferred. So we called back, first off we assumed it would be Sister Preszler so I wasn't worried at all. He asked if I would be willing to train. I said "sure, I can do that." Then he asked for Sister Prezler and said the same thing. She confirmed she could do that. So we got all prepared and waited for him to tell us who was transferring, but he didn't. Say what?! Then later that night is when all the transfer text came in. Lo and behold there was my name saying S. Boldt Nashua 1/2 ward. Which really meant Sister Boldt you are going to Nashua, New Hampshire and going to be over two wards. Oh by the way there aren't sisters there so you have to start out (hence the name shot-gunning). By the way just to add to that, you get the opportunity to work with not 1 but 2 sets of Elders!

In my head I had a mental breakdown. I have been out for 6 weeks, haven't finished my training, and am supposed to train a sister AND shot-gun the area! But after a long car ride home, I was better and now I am just back to freaking out. I have never been so scared in my life and my poor Greenie is going to think she got the worst. At the same time though, I know this is where the Lord needs me at this time so with relying upon Him (which is all we have going for us) we will be able to do it. It really truly threw us for one. Like honestly threw me. I never thought I would be the one transferring. I know it will be a blessing in my life to have this experience. So I am all ready for it!! :) I said goodbye to one of the cutest families on the planet last night and they were so sad I was leaving. All the little kids were like the cutest telling me goodbye. Starting on Friday I will be in New Hampshire with a new address! Wish me luck!!

Hmm... I got my first missionary true sunburn! Yup, fired half way down my upper arm, and the shoe tan line is coming along great. All I can say is that when I get home.. I don't think I should go out into public the way I look :) Not much else happened this week, but it really was fabulous and I love it. I am sad to be leaving Westerly and going to the completely opposite end of the Mission, but hey, I would rather be there than in the Boonies. :) Best quote I heard this week from the Branch President: "Holy crap sisters; this is clear out in the boonies!" He is from Cali and anywhere with out a close society is the boonies :) It's fabulous! I love you so much and miss  you a ton!!!!! Keep filling me in! LOVE YA!!!

Love, Sister Boldt
